In early 2016 I lived for a month or so in a small cottage up in the mountains of Snowdonia, North Wales. Bearing witness to the change of season from Winter to Spring in such a place is wonderful. The drama of the change is played out at both grand and minuscule scales. This spoon carving was inspired by the reaction of early flowering Daffodils lowering their heads as a late Winter storm blew through. Hand carved in English Oak.
