Woodcarving Kits
A Woodcarving Kit is a wonderful way to discover the pleasure of woodcarving for yourself, to develop new skills or practice your craft on a new project. Giles developed the carving kits to make it easy for anyone to get started in carving and to ease the woodcarver into the process. By providing a project with the design already in place and positioned to work in harmony with the character and grain of the wood you can focus more on your knife techniques and worry less about the design itself.
Workshops & Courses
By sharing the carving and knife handling techniques that he has developed as a foundation for students, Giles encourages and assists each individual to adapt the techniques to suit their own strengths and aspirations and guides them along their personal woodcarving journey. With a focus on developing a deep understanding of wood, its nature, its unique characteristics and learning to work in harmony with the wood, Giles opens up the world of creative opportunities as well as the mental and physical benefits of woodcarving.
Whether as part of a group workshop or on a one-to-one basis there is a workshop or course to suit all levels of experience and all ages.
